Who We Are

We’re Jason and Bethany, two animal-loving individuals who believe that every pet and their person deserves reliable, stress-free care, no matter the reason.

We understand that life gets hectic. Between work, family, health, and everything in between, it can be hard to find time for it all. Whether you need help keeping the yard clean, making sure your dog gets their walk, or having someone you trust care for your pets while you’re away, we’re here to help.

We don’t just clean yards or walk dogs. We show up reliably, without judgment, and treat your pets and your home with care and respect. Our services are practical, affordable, and grounded in the belief that getting help should never feel like a luxury.

At the end of the day, pets are family, and they deserve to be cared for like it.

Meet the Team

Bethany has loved dogs for as long as she can remember. Back in elementary school, she made a presentation to convince her parents she was responsible enough for a pet. A year later, after her first pet-sitting experience with a Shiba Inu, her family adopted Zoey, a rescue Sato dog from Puerto Rico. Zoey quickly became Bethany’s best friend and sparked a lifelong love for animals. When Zoey passed away in August 2025, this business became a way to honor her memory. Her nose print is now part of our logo.

While earning her Public Health degree from Towson University, Bethany began walking dogs, doing drop-in visits, and staying overnight with pets through Rover and Wag. In 2021, she joined Purr'N'Pooch as a receptionist, where she managed reservations, client inquiries, and medical records, gaining valuable insight into the behind-the-scenes side of pet care. Over the years, she has continued expanding her knowledge of dog behavior and training methods to provide safe, positive experiences for every pet she meets.

Bethany is the planner and communicator of the team, handling scheduling, client communication, and marketing. She also provides hands-on care through walks, drop-ins, and overnights. Her background in public health and client relations has taught her how to juggle details, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to the unexpected. These skills carry over naturally into caring for both pets and people.

Outside of pet care, Bethany is dedicated to helping others through education and advocacy. She is creating a health education YouTube channel and volunteering where she teaches emotional wellness to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her free time, Bethany enjoys reading, watching TV shows, coloring, and playing cozy video games like The Sims 4.

Jason: Staff

Jason is a lifelong animal lover who grew up surrounded by pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even a lizard. His hands-on experience began in 2014 at Sunnyside Farm, where he worked with horses for six years and discovered how rewarding it can be to care for animals of all kinds. In 2021, he became a shift leader at Purr'N'Pooch Pet Resorts in Tinton Falls, a facility offering daycare, boarding, and grooming for both dogs and cats. He stayed in that role for two years, which also happens to be where he and Bethany first met.

Afterward, Jason worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at Two Rivers Animal Hospital in Little Silver, where he deepened his skills in animal handling, communication, and client support. He is currently attending HVAC school and values having a balance between hands-on technical work and caring for animals. While he does not have pets of his own just yet, he looks forward to adopting when the time is right.

Jason is a hands-on, detail-oriented person who takes pride in doing every job thoroughly and efficiently. He is in his element when working outdoors and never shies away from hard work. Along with handling the poop-scooping side of the business, he also helps with drop-ins, walks, and overnight care when his schedule allows. Whether he is navigating tricky terrain or making sure every pet is safe and comfortable, Jason brings focus, reliability, and genuine care to everything he does.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys playing video games, especially RPGs, watching anime, and relaxing with a good movie. He loves the balance this business brings to his life and takes pride in helping families feel confident that their pets are in good hands.
